About the Instructor
Tracey Smith has been running her beekeeping company, Beanstalk Honey, for ten years. She has buzzed around farmer's markets for over 6000 hours selling her hive products. She started producing queens in 2011 and started teaching in-person beekeeping workshops in 2013. She has inspected commerical bee colonies for a company developing precision bee monitoring equipment. She is a co-author of Alberta Agriculture and Forestry's Bee Health App and has an knack for spotting a diseased larva from ten feet away over someone's shoulder.
